Dr. Andrew Taylor

I came from a very poor background in Scotland, but I had my mother’s love and support in those early years as my father died when I was 6. I had no mentors when I was young and it was trial by fire. Many mistakes were made and time wasted. Eventually I started going to seminars and meeting instructors in my early 20’s who opened my eyes to what is possible. This included health care, finances, real estate and now stocks and funds.

I started teaching medical courses about 28 years ago and I found I had a talent for making complex material easy to understand and the ability to teach practical applications in a way that participants could master. As the years passed by, I became more comfortable in this role. I prefer a class of 20 but I have talked in front of more than 500 people. Fast forward to Taylored Education Concepts. In the Fall of 2025 I found myself in a position where I had a dog property delivered that I had bought as a presale. It lost cash by the bucket load. I had to think about how to structure this property so it would cashflow. With a bit of effort, I came up with a leverage strategy, and it has been a life saver. I next thought about how I get this knowledge out to more people.

I contacted Steve Selengut the author of Retirement Money Secrets a book that I had read earlier in the year. I asked him if he would speak at a conference I was proposing. He said yes. What happened next was I asked all my real estate and investing buddies I respected if they would like to share their knowledge. The result is the Cabo Conference being held on the 29-31^st January 2027 at The Westin Los Cabos Vacation Club Resort Villas.

We have some great speakers with an incredible knowledge base presenting at the conference.

I also will be returning to teaching my medical musculoskeletal programs every February in Cabo starting in 2027.

It is my sincere hope that we can create an annual conference to teach financial literacy and street smart skills to be successful.

It is my hope that I can also create a retreat type personal development/health conference in Lagos, Portugal each year. I have some wonderful people willing to help me with this program.  Ideally starting in September/October annually.

I am a seasoned real estate investor specializing in distressed multifamily investments in the USA. With 35+ years as an IT consultant, I like to focus on the numbers and processes in everything I do.

I am TEC’s Technical Director and responsible for conference and events organization, ticketing, and all things Internet.

Currently living in Costa Rica full time, I have STR and property investments in Mexico and Costa Rica. My 76 unit apartment complex in Cleveland, OH, keeps me busy as I get it ready to be sold, while I look for my next great multi-family opportunity.

I am looking forward to meeting everyone at our inaugural conference, and ensuring that everyone comes away from it feeling that they received great value for their invested time and money.
